The Trijicon RMR Red Dot Sights
The diminutive Trijicon RMR reflex sight has achieved a strong following world-wide. If you prefer battery operation you can have a CR2032 powered LED version, otherwise you can opt for a combination of tritium phosphor and fiber-optic illumination. The tritium phosphor lamp will last for up to 15 years. The RMR sight is waterproof and protected from impact by a forged 7075 T6 aluminum chassis. Superb light transmission and image clarity are assured by a 28 layer coating on the super tough lenses.
The Trijicon RM01 is their baseline LED model. The LED automatically adjusts to ambient daylight levels. The RM01 can run for up to two years on a single battery. The RM01 has a 3.25 MoA red dot, whilst its partner, the Trijicon RM02 has an 8 MoA red dot. The former gives more precision and the latter faste acquisition and the ability to mount the sight further from the eye. A useful feature when using the RMR as an offset back-up sight.
A wide variety of Trijicon RMR sight mounts are available to suit almost any conceivable application. An ultra low Picatinny mount serves for tactical shotguns, whereas a taller one can be used to co-witness at either absolute or bottom 1/3 of sight picture. A common use of the RMR is as an offset back-up sight on tactical rifles and carbines. Trijicon even make and offset adapter, the RM55, which clamps on to any Mil-std 1913 Picatinny rail and puts the RMR at a 45 degree angle where it can be accessed by tilting the weapon. Likewise piggy-backed mounts are available to mount the RMR on any ACOG sight. There are specific mounts for the 1.5 2 and 3X, the 3.5 and 4X and the TA01 NSN whilst the 6X ACOGs now have Picatinny rails on top.
i have logitch computer speackers and the green plug has a short in it can i cut and rewire?
just wondering if i cut this can it be rewired like a speaker. I know that headphones cant be due to that red fiber wire. thanks
Shouldn't be a problem if you're good with a soldering iron. The plugs are cheap at stores like Radio Shack.
