A Closer View Of Wild Animals & Their Habitats

If you look at wild animals you will find that they make up a lot of the planet. However, we don't consider all animals wild since humans have domesticated animals like dogs and cats. Then again, if the animal doesn't live in a home it's considered wild not to mention that many people only know of certain wild animals through Wild Animals Pictures. When you look at all the different continents out there, each one of them hosts different animals. This is due to the natural habitat, the environment, and basically how they survive. So if you live in the United States you won't see any giraffes running around the streets unless they escaped from the zoo.

When looking for wild animals in the United States, people consider the dangerous ones like; bears, mountain lions, and wolves. Then again, there are harmless ones as well like; birds, rabbits, and squirrels. You've probably been told not to get too close to a wild animal, because you never know what they are going to do. They could look nice and cute, but then turn on you in the blink of an eye. So keep your distance, but if you have to get close then take the necessary precautions. Since we're not really supposed to interact with them, it intrigues people to take Wild Animal Pictures. After all, you never know when you will get another chance.

Other areas like Africa offer wild animals like; lions, tigers, hyenas, and zebras. Yes you can see these in the states as well, but only if you're heading to the local zoo. Taking Pictures of Wild Animals in Africa is a lot more difficult than doing so in the U.S. The area's infrastructure isn't as widespread, so if you want a good one it means heading out into the wilderness. We definitely don't recommend that you do this on your own or with just friends. Instead, take the time to hire a professional guide. Some expeditions like this have resulted in death because the individuals didn't have a good feel for the terrain.

There are also plenty of wild animals in the oceans and surrounding waters. Whether they are cute ones like dolphins or dangerous ones like sharks, you can find several others in between. If you purchase a half or full day pass with a professional boating company, you will have a better chance of getting a photo. Since these creatures are under water the majority of the time, it's going to be hard to get the perfect shot. This is especially true if you try to do it all on your own. In the end, just use common sense in the location you're experiencing. Eventually you will get to enjoy all the wild animals in the area.

Israel Bans Cat Declawing. Punishment: One Year In Prison, $20K (Discover Magazine)

On November 28th Israel's legislature unanimously passed a bill that outlaws
the declawing of cats, except for certain medical reasons, making it a crime
punishable by up to one year in prison and a fine of about $20,000 (or 75,000
shekels). Declawing is a somewhat misleading term; in the procedure, called an
onychectomy, the veterinarian typically [...]
